Riverbend Cottage & Rv Resort - Private beach on the Englishman River in Parksville
Accommodations
The resort offers over 100 fully equipped 30 and 50 amp RV sites, along with cottages and yurts that sleep up to 10 guests. Select cottages and the lodge include full kitchens, indoor fireplaces, and heated bathroom floors. The lodge sleeps 10 and provides a large kitchen, a big dining table, and a fenced yard with a propane fire pit.
Amenities
The property has a private beach on the Englishman River with deep swimming pools and a gentle current. A children's playground with climbing structures and a playing field is on site, along with a lending library of books, magazines, and videos. Token-operated hot showers and laundry facilities are available, and on-site coffee and complimentary newspapers are offered in the main cabin.
Location
Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park is 2 km from the resort, and Top Bridge Provincial Park is just down the road. MacMillan Provincial Park with ancient fir trees, several golf courses, and local farmers markets are within a short drive. The Departure Bay ferry terminal is 35 minutes away, and Nanaimo Airport is 48 km from the property.
Family & Pet-Friendly
Families can use the on-site playground, the playing field for games, and the river for swimming and cliff jumping. Board games and puzzles are available in the common lounge, and kids' outdoor play equipment is provided. Pets are allowed in designated accommodations, and the fenced yards in some units allow dogs to roam safely.

Guests have direct access to the Englishman River for catch-and-release fishing and swimming.
